Cancer Clinical Trial Access Map
Where the clinical trial deserts are, by county and congressional district
Where you live shouldn't decide which cancer trials you can join.
The Cancer Clinical Trial Access Map measures, in road miles, how far Americans live from recruiting cancer clinical trials, by county, congressional district and state, and shows what would change it. About 11.8 million Americans aged 55 and older have fewer than 20 recruiting cancer treatment trials within 60 road-miles of home.

What this is
The Cancer Clinical Trial Access Map is an independent research project on where cancer care reaches and where it doesn't, built by Neha Agrawal, MD, a medical oncologist. It measures access to recruiting cancer clinical trials the way a patient experiences it: in road miles from home, not in counts per state.
The map is built entirely from public data, refreshed weekly, and checked against the live registry and independent routing. Everything it reports can be traced to its source. Read more about the project, how it is built, and how to cite it.
